At Smiths Sports & Performance, we do not offer distance sales as part of our standard sales process. All vehicle purchases are to be completed on site at our premises, where customers can inspect the vehicle in person and finalise the transaction directly with our team.
Should a customer choose to proceed with a purchase remotely or without visiting in person, this will be regarded as a non standard transaction, and will not fall under the Consumer Contracts (Distance Selling) Regulations. In such cases, the customer will not be entitled to the usual consumer rights associated with distance selling.
To ensure full clarity and mutual agreement, Smiths Sports & Performance will require all customers opting for a distance sale to complete and sign a Distance Sale Disclaimer Form. This form clearly outlines that the customer understands and accepts that they are waiving their consumer rights typically applicable to distance purchases, including the right to cancel or return the vehicle once delivered or collected.
