Carbon Collective Detailing and Ceramic Coatings

Carbon Collective is one of the market-leading manufacturers for cleaning products and ceramic coating products for vehicles.

The Carbon Collective products we use are available in 3 stages.

Stage One

Exterior

  • The vehicle is washed using PH neutral shampoo using a twin grit guard bucket system to prevent any stones and sharp edged particles being carried onto the car via wash mitt
  • Wheels are cleaned using a non-acidic based cleaner specially designed to remove salt grit and brake dust created and collected whilst driving on the roads
  • Door shuts, petrol cap, arches and lower section parts will be cleaned (where accessible)
  • Your vehicle will be hand-dried using deep-pile microfibre drying towels
  • The paintwork is treated with a clay bar (mild or aggressive) removing bonded surface contaminants
  • Body solvent product is sprayed to dissolve and remove tar, road grime, bug splatter deposits and other petroleum based substances
  • Exterior plastics and door trims are dressed
  • Tyres are dressed

Interior

  • Carpets vacuumed
  • Windows are cleaned on the inside
  • Interior trim and surfaces are all cleaned using scented antibacterial spray

Stage Two

Carbon Collective Molecule Ceramic Coating for paintwork

Once Carbon Collective coating is applied, it becomes the active layer on top of the surface, improving gloss, protecting against scratches, swirls, chemicals, bird droppings and UV rays for up to 5 years!

Carbon Collective Platinum Glass Ceramic Coating

This bonds to the windscreen and windows much the same as the coating for paintwork. Applying the Carbon Collective product makes wiper blade use significantly reduced, as the superhydrophobic sheeting properties of platinum glass start at speeds as low as 30MPH. This increases visibility to create a safer driving experience.

Stage Three

Nero Self-Healing Ceramic Coating

The Nero product has a high active content, consisting of diamond particles, which helps to maximise gloss & protection whilst aiding the self-healing process, increasing scratch resistance and durability up to 7 years, helping to keep your paint swirl-free for longer.

**Carbon Collective high-end ceramic coating products can only be applied by a trained detailing professional. This is because of the strong chemical bond the coating forms with a car’s paintwork. Should crystal serum be applied incorrectly, the car will need flat sanding to remove the coating**

What does Ceramic Coating do?

When your car is cleaned, the Carbon Collective product applied will prevent the harshest wash chemicals from dulling your gloss finish. Contaminants like bird droppings and tree sap are much easier to remove and will not harm the vehicle’s clear coat either. As well as helping with contaminants, it will be unaffected by extreme heat changes and offers exceptional UV protection, which prevents premature dulling of vehicle paintwork.
